Clampdown in Libyan capital as protests close in – Yahoo! News

As we pray for peace, order and justice in the Middle East, let us get inspiration from Chronicles 7:14 which states in God’s words through the prophets, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

In the second letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians (4:1-6), he has challenged everyone to become steadfast in their faith and glorify Christ in his teachings in the face of the growing temptations in this material world of high rise buildings, highly computerized technology and things of the flesh, “Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways, we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God.

“On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God… The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”

If we really love our neighbors, we have to share to light, and see the truth in love with God through Jesus.
